Spider Farmer G8600 Review: Powerful Commercial-Grade LED Grow Lighting

The Spider Farmer G8600 is an 800W LED grow light featuring a six-bar design intended for uniform coverage across a 4x4 or 5x5 ft area. Utilizing high-efficiency Bridgelux diodes, it achieves a PPE of 2.85 μmol/J and a PPF of 2,283 μmol/s, making it suitable for demanding horticultural environments. Integration with the Spider Farmer app allows for remote management of schedules, dimming, and sunrise or sunset simulations via WiFi and Bluetooth, while the detachable driver helps manage heat buildup within an enclosure.

Despite these advanced features, potential users should ensure their power infrastructure can handle an 800W load, especially when daisy-chaining multiple units. The unit's large size requires substantial tent space, and those operating in smaller setups may find it excessive or difficult to accommodate. This system is primarily designed for commercial growers or serious enthusiasts who require scalable, high-output lighting solutions with professional-grade remote control capabilities.
