Vortex Crossfire HD 2-7x32 Review: A Specialized Rimfire Optic

The Vortex Crossfire HD 2-7x32 Rimfire is a dedicated riflescope designed for rimfire applications, featuring an HD Optical System engineered for high-resolution images and minimal chromatic aberration. Its fully multi-coated lenses are optimized for light transmission, while the V-Plex reticle provides a versatile, clutter-free aiming point suitable for various hunting scenarios. Built with an aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, the unit is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, ensuring durability in unpredictable field conditions.

This scope is best suited for shooters who prioritize clarity and build quality for rimfire platforms, though users should note its magnification range of 2-7x limits its effectiveness for long-range precision shooting. Because it is optimized specifically for rimfire, it may lack the complex ballistic holdover features found in more expensive tactical scopes. Potential buyers should verify that their specific firearm configuration accommodates a 1-inch tube diameter before installation.
